Be Empowered: Inspiring Quotes from Empowering Women

Hello lovelies. What is popping? I can hear you all scream TGIF. What are your plans this weekend? Please share

I dont think I am a feminist but I rather say I believe in the utmost strength of a woman. Women are gifts from God that the society hasn’t come to realise so today i will be celebrating women who have made a mark for this generation and the next. These women have learned to overcome every obstacle that came their way. They are not intimidated by what people believed about them, but rather they choose to focus on their dreams and accomplish them. These women are fighters, they are everywhere but we just don’t realise it yet. So this is to every woman out there who is letting her voice heard, who is making an impact in her church, in her home, in her workplace, at the marketplace, those who hawk their goods on the express road day and night, come rain come shine, women who are willing to sell all they have to cater for their family. I call them Women of Substance and I look up to them everyday to be the woman I hope to become. They make this world livable.

These Quotes are to inspire us on being a warrior and to keep our head up high. You are never too young or too old to make an impact in the society.
I hope you learn a thing or two..

“You don’t have to be pretty. You don’t owe prettiness to anyone. Not to your boyfriend/spouse/partner, not to your coworkers, especially not to random men on the street. You don’t owe it to your mother, you don’t owe it to your children, you don’t owe it to civilization in general. Prettiness is not a rent you pay for occupying a space marked ‘female.'” —Erin McKean

“The idea of being a feminist: So many women have come to this idea of it being anti-male and not able to connect with the opposite sex, but what feminism is about is equality and human rights. For me that is just an essential part of my identity.”—
